52 - kool kids klubbing
today, i borrowed a friend's id to get into a club with some friends.
although i was super happy that i actually got in, there were a few things that gave me a very poor first impression of clubbing:
the night was bunk, but i learned my lesson for next time:
and now, i ponder as to sleep or kill 3 hours till work, as its currently 5 a.m.

although i was super happy that i actually got in, there were a few things that gave me a very poor first impression of clubbing:
- drinks were hella expensive (yes yes... should've predrank, but joanna rushed us to get the tickets)
- the guy to girl ratio goes from 1:1 to 3:1 as the night gets later
- the girls were too full of themselves in the beginning
- the worse part was that the dj SUCKED.
the night was bunk, but i learned my lesson for next time:
- bring more girls because its more fun with friends than randoms
- predrink because drinks at the club are $8+ each and 1 or 2 wont get your tipsy enough
- look beforehand at who's gonna be dj-ing
- go in at like 11:30ish or else you'd be bored for an hour
- count your money before and after if you do buy drinks (i lost like $10-20 somehow)

29 - dum
math class on tuesday: saw this girl in front of me watch 2pm's MAMA performance of "heartbeat" and "again and again" on her itouch. i told MT and she thought it was cool. that was cool.
bus ride: creepy girl sitting across barry was staring at people for the whole bus ride. to avoid eye contact, i pretended to take a nap (but every once in awhile, i open my eyes and look, and she's staring people down).
creepiness +1
off the bus; walking home: while looking at my phone (i was on msn with friend), the branches of a bush hit me in the face. and it so happened that the bus stop was right where i was, and the bus stopped there a few seconds earlier. i saw quite a bit of people staring out the window (i think).
painful? no
embarrassing? very
there's only a week left till end of semester! (but i have finals for 3 weeks)

24 - zzzzzzz
work: was boring and consisted a lot of broken cantonese from me trying to explain/translate stuff. i got observed and tested on codes again! but this time the lady was so nice LOL she showed me the back of the pictures with the codes really quickly. plantain banana is 4235 (susan i think that's her name told me to look at the sticker on the banana picture!). i like how she told me that i "improved" from last time, even though she even explained to me what was being evaluated (greeting the customer, asking for bags, pc points, tender, good bye).
dsc thing @sportchek: worse 3 hours spent ever... i had imagined there were more to do there, but i ended up sitting at the table, changing the music to something appropriate (usually i just pick the songs i liked), and cut out paper.
random - econ: 75% on my 2nd econ midterm (yay) and 90% 1st try econ ch9 quiz. 2nd try on the quiz was 44.3% LOL, but the highest of the two is taken :] and i get to keep my scaled midterm1 mark (the prof told us if we did a shit job on midterm2, he would give us the unscaled mark of midterm1), which makes maintaining a 65%+ avg possible!
random - life: ever woke up one day and just felt very... meh? its a feeling between feeling good and feeling like shit. you can't smile (meaning if you do smile, it'd just be for show) and you can't be sad (depressed kind of sad). feeling like this along with work+ the dsc thing made my day very ugh. i blame the shitty weather and my comfortable bed (its so hard to get out with it being so warm!)
i like how i can sum up my day so easily.

22 - too many lols
just some stuff i found funny today:
after math class: i saw this guy sitting on a bench, long hair, has a good amount of facial hair, white (or brown.. i seriously cant tell), looked kinda 24ish. he was smoking a pipe... with a very stern look, but LOL. a pipe, A PIPE! lika ya know, sherlock holmes kind of pipe.
during history class: i think i must've been so bored in this class that i cracked up at something totally not funny. the prof was talking about how people in the 17th century were debating whether or not the earth or the sun was the stationary one. and then he starts talking about how the planets would orbit around the earth, but they are moving in small circles while moving in a huge circle. i found that really funny LOL.
bussing home: while i was sitting in the back right corner of the bus, these two guys beside me pulled out their mac. WG and co. would probably like this, they were watching HIMYM on it. the amount of lols i heard on the way back home was incredible. of course i snuck a few peeks at it once in awhile, but too bad they had earphones on so there was no sound =\. later they switched to The Office, which was funny as hell too. damn, now i kinda want to watch these two series. must download later!

Highlights of the day:
Being late for work: didn't have an excuse. supervisor tells me "its ok, you are like the 5th person late since the skytrain wasn't working." lol ok works for me. but damn, i had to stay till 2 (my original shift was from 9:30-1:30, but i was 15 minutes late ._.)
On the way to downtown for a haircut: i thought to myself, maybe i should make a list of what colours im colour blind to. man im messed up.
light blue - purple
purple - pink
light pink - white
light yellow - light green
dark green - charcoal gray
charcoal gray - brown
brown - dark red
* according to something that i read, men can only tell the basic colours such as blue, red, yellow, etc. magenta (lolwut?), beige (u srs?), maroon (funi guy) are NOT colours
Haircut @ Misako downtown: haircut lady was really friendly and talked to me. she had a very strong accent, but was good enough to converse. though i think talking distracted her from cutting my hair since it didnt turn out as good as i hoped for. japanese people think mixed people are hot. true story.
Getting coffee after haircut: not a good idea to order a latte (or something you've never tried before and have absolutely NO idea what to put in). i looked like such a noob/retard and was asking on msn what to put in cuz i was too embarrassed to ask the starbucks people. QQ
Bussing home from Joyce: hopped on a bus with a bunch of 14/15 year olds. kids these days! ed hardy, puma-wearing annoyances. the girls looked like sluts, and the group was totally obnoxious and oblivious to everyone else on the bus.

14 - ugh
if i'm good at anything, it's being lazy. rather than study econ or work on my english assignment, i went on youtube instead! fuck im screwed.
i need 25 hours in a day!
ironically, in a matter of 10 minutes, daylight saving will be over and we'll all be getting an extra hour! (i thought we would actually LOSE an hour. lol im dum)
cool i also just realized that would mean today is a 25 hour day... wow

04 - Durr...
Well, for another 12 minutes, its still my birthday today.
For some odd reason, it didn't really feel that much different as any other day (same feeling occurred to me last year). For most part of the day, I felt pretty craptacular (wtf 80 pages worth of shit to read + quiz + essay this week?).
Sometimes, I get this feeling of emptiness every few months. I wouldn't say I feel "emo" or anything, its more of a "lonely" feeling. Its probably not even that, its just a "sad" feeling. Explaining it takes too much effort. =|
